Halloween 2008

Isabel and her class celebrated Halloween last Friday. Isabel dressed up as a pumpkin and took an Elmo bucket. All the kids loved her bucket, and she didn't really mind sharing. They went trick-or-treating from classroom to classroom. Baba was with her taking some pictures.

Cool in the Pool

This is the wonderful thing about fall in Texas: reading in the pool while Mami drinks a cold Nestea, Baba plays salsa in the garage, and the neighbors stand by drinking their beers. That's the sweet life!!

Murphy the Cat likes to hang out in everybody's backyards. Isabel and Murphy love watching each other through the window. This picture reminds me of a picture of her cousin Gabriel and a cat in Louisiana when he was a baby.
