And on our way back we stopped for a few hours in Amsterdam, and Isabel got to sightsee around a bit!

Last days in Istanbul

After Sweden we returned to Istanbul for a few days before heading back to the US. There we had breakfast with our friends Emin Bey, Jeremy and Afaf.

We also paid a final visit to Ekrem, where Deniz could not resist having a baby-sized bottle of rakı. They start young over there...

Bisabuela

Aidita gave her a very nice box!!!!! (it had a rabbit inside, too).

Stockholm

We stayed with our friends Loiset and Kari in Stockholm for a weekend. What a beautiful city, and such great company!

We visited the Wasa museum. Being it a big old boat, Can loved it! Apparently Isabel did not find it as exciting, and with all the dimmed lightning she rather napped.

We found an exposition of funny signs downtown. Here's one I liked!
